The STADT:up consortium takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. For this reason, we have taken measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us and by our external service providers and partners.
In the course of the further development of our Internet offer and the technologies used, changes to this data protection declaration may also become necessary.We therefore recommend that you read the data protection declaration again from time to time. The following statement gives you an overview of how the STADT:up consortium ensures the protection of your data and what type of data is collected for what purpose.
Personal data
At some points on the website, you will be asked to provide personal information. We store and use the transmitted (personal) data exclusively for the purpose for which they were provided. It will not be passed on to third parties. In addition, you will be explicitly requested at these points to agree to the storage and transfer of data. Automatically stored log data is deleted after a limited period of time.
Data processing on this website
Every time you visit a website, data is collected and exchanged as required by law. The STADT:up consortium automatically collects and stores data that your browser transmits to our server. These are:
- Type and version of your internet browser
- the operating system used
- the page accessed
- the previously visited page (referrer URL)
- the time of the server request
The STADT:up consortium evaluates data solely for statistical purposes in order to measure the demand of the web offers. The STADT:up consortium has no way of assigning this data to a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources. The IP numbers are recorded for the duration of the visit for the purpose of answering queries and are not stored beyond the end of the visit. Data logged when accessing the internet offer will only be transmitted to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by court decision or if the transmission is necessary for legal or criminal prosecution in the event of attacks on the internet infrastructure of the of the STADT:up consortium. A passing on in other cases does not take place.
Cookies
So-called session cookies are used. Session cookies are small pieces of information that a provider stores in the RAM of the visitor's computer. A randomly generated unique identification number, a so-called session ID, is stored in a session cookie. In addition, a cookie contains information about its origin and the storage period. These cookies cannot store any other data.
Dealing with cookies

If you send us an e-mail, this e-mail and your e-mail address will only be used for correspondence with you. In the case of applications and votes, the personal data provided will only be stored for the purpose of processing the application process.
